Is Cazeus registered with iGaming Ontario

Cazeus's own sign-up terms say only that account eligibility 'can vary by province' - it does not name Ontario, does not claim Ontario registration, and does not describe itself anywhere as operating under the province's regulated framework. Independent portals we checked for the main review name a licence in one of several disputed jurisdictions (see the licensing discrepancy covered in our main review), none of which is iGaming Ontario. Based on everything reviewed, there is no indication Cazeus holds iGaming Ontario registration.

What iGaming Ontario registration actually means

Ontario, through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and its subsidiary iGaming Ontario, runs a regulated, competitive online gambling market - one of the few in Canada set up this way. Only operators that have gone through registration with iGaming Ontario are permitted to legally offer or advertise real-money online casino and sports betting to people located in Ontario. That registration process includes standards around game fairness, player fund protection, advertising conduct and dispute handling that unregistered offshore sites are not bound by in the same way.

This is a meaningfully different model from most of the rest of Canada, where provinces generally don't run their own competitive online-casino registry and offshore-licensed sites operate in a greyer space. Ontario closed that gap deliberately - which is why a site's registration status matters more for an Ontario resident than it does elsewhere in the country.

Why this matters more for Cazeus specifically

The regulatory question sits on top of an unresolved issue we already flag in the main review: Cazeus's own site and independent review portals name different licensing jurisdictions and different operating companies for the same brand, and we could not confirm which, if any, is currently accurate. An iGaming Ontario-registered operator would not have that kind of open question - registration comes with a single, verifiable regulatory record. The absence of any Ontario-specific claim from Cazeus, combined with the broader licensing discrepancy, points the same direction: this is not a site with a settled, checkable Ontario regulatory status.

The Trustpilot pattern we found for the main review - an overall 1.7/5 from 319 reviews, with a recurring recent pattern of withdrawals reported stuck for 9 to 25-plus days - is a separate issue from registration status, but it is the kind of consumer-protection concern that registration requirements exist to address.
